In Lead Happy Teams’ post-experience feedback survey
Our client’s team was talented, caring and committed. It was also growing quickly, taking on more and working across increasingly complex roles and priorities.
Goodwill was high, yet it was no longer enough. People were carrying too much individually, communication did not always travel across the team and some important conversations were being softened, delayed or avoided.
The team wanted to work as one, challenge more confidently and stop everything gravitating towards its senior leaders. It also wanted greater influence across the business: advising well, holding boundaries and bringing more curiosity and challenge to the conversations that mattered.

We began with deep insight, personality profiling and a fully tailored, in-person Team Experience designed around what was really happening beneath the surface.
That became the starting point for a longer partnership, blending immersive face-to-face experiences with focused digital Masterclasses. Together, we explored great conversations, challenge and conflict, boundaries and the everyday behaviours that either build trust or quietly erode it.
Each intervention moved the work forward. The team explored how personality shapes communication, how to move beyond transactional exchanges and how to say what needed to be said whilst making relationships stronger at the same time.
A second full Team Experience brought our client’s future People & Culture vision to life. The team stepped into that future, explored what it would demand of them and surfaced the mindset shifts needed to make it real. The result was a tangible lift in energy, belief and collective ambition.
The biggest change was not simply what the team did. It was what the team believed. Being supportive no longer had to mean always saying yes, harmony no longer meant avoiding challenge and carrying things alone was no longer seen as the safest option. That shift in belief changed behaviour.
People picked up the phone more, shared earlier, challenged more openly and thought beyond the boundaries of their own role. Trust grew, communication became more direct, the team became better able to name what was working, what was getting in the way and what needed to happen next.
They also became more resilient through change, supporting one another without absorbing everything individually and developing a stronger sense of being genuinely in it together. The clearest sign of impact was what the team kept doing differently when Lead Happy was no longer in the room or on the screen.
